Reflections

Unfortunately my project hasn't turned out as what I envisioned. I believe that the failures within this project are due to my own poor time planning skills. Although I had an action plan to follow, I neglected to do so effectively. Although I still finished my project and reached a conclusion, I believe I fell short when it comes to the themes I wanted to present. I wanted to create something of length which explored human connection. My finished product is instead shorter than I would've liked, and feels more like a simple collection of photos. When presented in a exhibition context, I hope I can elevate the work using my own music and sound, providing more atmosphere, alongside the A0 print I created. In terms of successes, I am relieved I did manage to create a finished product that is somewhat in line with my theme. This project was also a great learning tool for me as one of my first photography projects, as I learnt much about the medium. Ultimately I will use this project as a form of guidance in the future, and use what I've learnt to make sure that I don't fall into the same mistakes again.
